World Market will open its first store in the Baltimore area at The AVENUE in White Marsh next month, and shoppers are invited to attend the opening celebration.
The grand opening invites shoppers to enjoy free food, drink tastings, giveaways, and special celebratory savings for the entire weekend of May 11 and 12.
World Market is a store known for its trendy home décor and furniture, houseware, gifts, and jewelry. They also sell a wide assortment of food and beverages from around the globe.
World Market has more than 230 stores with their affordably priced offerings imported from more than 50 countries. Many of these items are unique and exclusive to World Market, supplied by an international network of regional artisans the Company has developed through its 50-plus years in the import business.
The Baltimore-area’s first World Market store plans its celebratory opening on the following days:
- Ribbon Cutting: Thursday, May 9 at 10 a.m.
- Store Opening: Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
