World of Beer Bar & Kitchen is opening two new locations in Maryland, one in Annapolis and the other in Bel Air.
The Annapolis location is set to open on Jan. 12, 2026, and the Bel Air location will open in the second half of 2026.
World of Beer Bar & Kitchen already has three Maryland locations in Bethesda, Rockville, and Owings Mills. There were locations in Towson and Baltimore City, but those are permanently closed, according to Google Maps.
World of Beer Bar & Kitchen began in 2007 as a craft beer bottle shop in Tampa, Florida run by two best friends. They began pairing their beers with food that went well with the specific beer, and the restaurant was born. They now have locations up the East Coast and across the nation.
“From the very beginning, the bar was built on variety, discovery, and community,” reads the World of Beer website. “Today, each WOB location offers hundreds of brews—with rotating taps that reflect both local favorites and global flavors, there’s something new to try every time you visit.”
Since each location has a different selection of craft beers, the menus are also different based on the beer lineup. World of Beer even has its own proprietary beer: Secret Llama, which they describe as “bold, quirky, and crowd-approved”.
The Owings Mills location, like many World of Beer locations, offers specials, themed trivia nights, and seasonal events. They also have an event space, offer military discounts, and are pet-friendly.
The new Annapolis World of Beer Bar & Kitchen is located at 2141 Generals Highway in Annapolis.
