WOW Air is expanding its BWI flights to Iceland to every day of the week. The daily schedule will begin in early June. Apparently, flights to Iceland starting at $99 are already a big hit.
“Our bookings to and from BWI have far exceeded what we anticipated,” said Skúli Mogensen, WOW air’s founder and CEO.
While the hot springs and glaciers of Iceland are a big draw, part of the WOW appeal undoubtedly lies in the places one can fly once they reach Iceland. The airline offers connections to European destinations London, Amsterdam and Berlin.
