Local favorites Wye Oak have been steadily touring in support of the band’s stellar sixth album, “The Louder I Call, The Faster It Runs,” and that long journey on the road will bring them back to Ottobar on Nov. 18.

Tickets cost $20 and are on sale now.

Anybody who has followed Wye Oak long enough knows vocalist/guitarist Jenn Wasner and percussionist Andy Stack always do right by their former hometown. It’s worth noting the show is two days after the experimental duo Wume plays an album release show at the Ottobar, making this November weekend an exceptional one to support local music.
