The long, loooooong dormant Chesapeake restaurant at Charles and Lanvale finally reopened for dinner last night. The revived eatery boasts new owners, a new menu, and — so they claim — lower prices (but the burger’s $15, so they must be adjusting for inflation pretty hard.)
The new owners are calling it an “homage” to the original establishment and have attempted an “approachable, comfortable but still elegant” interior. Their dinner menu — which can be viewed online — is short and to the point, with a strong seafood influence, but they’ve thrown in a couple vegan items for good measure.
