We know you love the Charm City Cook Amy Langrehr. We do too, and so weโve asked her to post restaurant and food news everyday for all of us in the Baltimore Fishbowl! Look for her posts in the afternoonโฆjust when you start thinking about what to do for dinner.
This week, the successful pop-up dinner concept, Dinner Lab, announced that it was expanding into nine new cities โ and BALTIMORE is on the list!
Dinner Lab is a social dining experiment that unites undiscovered chefs with adventuresome diners who are looking for something different from the conventional restaurant experience.
Chefs are encouraged to make THEIR FOOD. No rules. Instead, Dinner Lab gives them a platform to tell a story through their menus โ recipes that speak to their background or heritage, ingredients they are passionate about, or completely new dishes theyโve been experimenting with on days away from the restaurant. Food that tells the chefโs story. Thatโs Dinner Lab.
(Baltimore Fishbowl friend Dayna West, who lives in San Francisco, gave us the heads up on the news of Dinner Lab coming to Baltimore. Sheโs been to a few in SF and calls the experience, โdifferent and fun.โ)

Some of the reviews I read online for other cities were pretty cool. Had to sign up so I could see for myself!
