Adopt-a-Pet: Baltimore Humane Society’s Pets of the Week

Hello! My name is Utah, and I came to BHS because I was abandoned at its gate with my sister. Unfortunately, she was really sick, and passed away the day we came here. In spite of my sad past, I just take each day as it comes, and try to live life to the fullest — that is, as much as I can in a cage! I’m somewhat of a social butterfly, and LOVE meeting new people. If you stop by the shelter, you’ll probably see me rolling around and waving “hello!” at everyone! I enjoy soft cat beds and catnip toys, but what I’d love the very most is a loving family who can give me the forever home I deserve. Whoever said there’s no such

thing as “love at first sight” just hasn’t met me yet. Stop by ASAP and let me win your heart!

Pleased to meet you! My name is Josie, and I was brought here from another shelter because they had no more room for me. I am a very sweet, spunky girl who’d love for my family to take me jogging, hiking, or at least on lots of long walks. I like kids and even though I get excited easily, I bet I would be okay with children of any age. As you can probably tell, I try to live life to the fullest. I am pretty picky about other dogs and cats, though, so I do need to be the queen of the castle; and no type of electric fencing for me either. Please stop by for a visit soon because I can’t wait to get started on my exciting new future with you.
