Hello! My name is Utah, and I came to BHS because I was abandoned at its gate with my sister. Unfortunately, she was really sick, and passed away the day we came here. In spite of my sad past, I just take each day as it comes, and try to live life to the fullest — that is, as much as I can in a cage! I’m somewhat of a social butterfly, and LOVE meeting new people. If you stop by the shelter, you’ll probably see me rolling around and waving “hello!” at everyone! I enjoy soft cat beds and catnip toys, but what I’d love the very most is a loving family who can give me the forever home I deserve. Whoever said there’s no such

Pleased to meet you! My name is Josie, and I was brought here from another shelter because they had no more room for me. I am a very sweet, spunky girl who’d love for my family to take me jogging, hiking, or at least on lots of long walks. I like kids and even though I get excited easily, I bet I would be okay with children of any age. As you can probably tell, I try to live life to the fullest. I am pretty picky about other dogs and cats, though, so I do need to be the queen of the castle; and no type of electric fencing for me either.
