Grace Preschool is buzzing with excitement these days! We are greeted by smiling boys and girls each morning, and it has been an absolute delight to witness their happiness upon seeing friends and teachers.
Routines have been established, and our students are becoming pros at unpacking their belongings each day, washing their hands for a full thirty seconds several times a day, and wearing masks while in the building. We have been pleasantly surprised to find that this new normal has been a relatively easy adjustment for even our littlest learners! It seems that they are just so happy to be in school – playing, learning, and delighting in life with their peers.
THE TWOS ARE BACK!
Our Twos have returned to campus as well! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Twos join us with a parent or guardian for a socially-distanced playground experience. It gives everyone a chance to meet, build community in a safe way, and get a few wiggles out during these beautiful fall mornings. Our Twos are getting simple crafts to create at home with adult supervision in addition to sweet song videos from our music teacher for sing-alongs when they’re away from campus.
BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING
Our Threes and Fours are exploring shapes and colors and learning more about all that the fall season offers. Letters and numbers are also being discovered, and daily outdoor exploration has been really exciting! Did we mention that we even watched caterpillars turn into beautiful monarch butterflies?! We released them into a neighborhood garden to migrate during the colder months.
Kindergarten has also had a wonderful month! New and old friendships are growing, and community building has been a strong focus. The joy on our students’ faces when seeing their friends at carpool, and when celebrating their classroom successes, has been a true highlight. Academics are enjoyed with hands-on experiences throughout each lesson, every day.
2021-2022 ADMISSIONS
We have started our 2021-22 admission season! We will be hosting socially-distanced Prospective Parent Coffee hours this fall, and we can’t wait to share all that we have to offer with new families.
