When August winds down, many folks start feeling the end-of-summer blues. School routines are back in swing, suntan glows are starting to fade, and vacation bills hit the mailboxes. Chin up, Baltimoreans! Right on time, the 9th Annual Baltimore Comedy Fest arrives on Friday, August 29th at 6:30 p.m., and it is easy on your wallet at the price of FREE!
This night of laughs and libations is held at the Enoch Pratt Free Library, as part of the Baltimore Comedy Festival (BCF). The BCF brings professional comedians from around the United States to Baltimore for six days of live showcases at venues around the city from Aug. 27 – Sept. 1, 2025.
The Baltimore Comedy Festival began in 2017, and each year has brought 75-100 comedians to Baltimore. This year, the Enoch Pratt Free Library will host a lineup of local and national comedians in their beautiful Central Hall free of charge, in keeping with its mission of serving the Baltimore community at no cost to its residents.
Beer and wine will be served, and ID is required for alcohol consumption. IDs will be checked!
This is an 18+ program, with registration required, since space for this program is limited. The Central Library is located in Mount Vernon at 400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD.
