Get Up & Go! Science at the Harbor and Indoor Fun!
Well, it’s time to get back to enjoying indoor fun. At least for the next few months. But some of our favorite local institutions are making it easy on us. This weekend, you can blast off with the kids down at Port Discovery for Rocket Day. And while you’re in the neighborhood, enjoy Domino Day at the Science Center. But be sure to make it by 2p.m. to catch the big topple!
The Mt. Washington Tavern and Heavy Seas brewing have a new collaboration you’ll want to check out as well (maybe without the kids). It’s a new brew crafted by Heavy Seas in honor of the Tavern’s 35th anniversary. From November 17-20th, pints are only $3.50 at the Tavern, so you can celebrate at length.
You can keep the eating, drinking, and merriment up on Wednesday the 19th with a short jaunt out to Rocklands Farm for a seasonal five course meal with local wine pairings served right at the vineyard.
But whatever you do, make sure you’re within eating distance of The Avenue on Sunday for Trohv’s pop-up pie tasting event from Piecycle. You’ll get to sample some amazing pies and pre-order for Thanksgiving. Now there’s a recipe for a yummy weekend.
