Get Up & Go!
This weekend, we’re all heading down to the Inner Harbor for the Baltimore Book Festival. Whether you’ve been dutifully reading along with One Maryland, One Book, or you want to take this opportunity to join in, you’ll be sure to run into all your fellow bibliophiles under the tents. And of course, you get to take in the glory of the harbor while you’re at it.
And have you heard that Bin 604 Wine Sellars has hidden a $1600 bottle of 2010 Chateau Lafite Rothschild in one of their $99 Case of the Month boxes? Cases are still available, and we don’t believe anyone’s nabbed that special case yet. Plus, there are “runner up” prizes hidden in a few cases as well. We think it’s safe to assume they’re not mini-boxes of Franzia.
This is also the last weekend to catch Pumpkin Theater’s Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. It’s a familiar story, but in this telling it’s brought to life for kids of all ages by the amazing folks at Pumpkin Theater. Or, if you’re looking for something a bit more adult, check out The Understudy at Everyman Theater for a rewarding evening of laughs.
