ben-carson-awkward-introAfter talking up “These Hands” at last week’s debate, Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is set to return to the city where he came to fame as a pediatric neurosurgeon to watch the returns come in for today’s Super Tuesday primary.

According to the AP, Carson will have an event at The Grand on Charles Street as the returns come in for the 12 states casting votes to determine party nominees for president. Maryland is not among the states casting a ballot. While he is the last remaining candidate with Baltimore ties after Martin O’Malley’s quick exit, Carson is polling in fifth in the GOP primary race so far. Given the volume of voting across the country, Super Tuesday is expected to reshape the race going forward.

While we wait for Carson to take the podium, relive these highlights of his Thursday debate.
