Each week, Artifact Coffee hosts a dinner on Wednesday, often featuring a local guest chef. Each chef puts their spin on Spike Gjerde’s “bowl + a beer” concept. This week’s guest chef is Patrick Morrow, formerly of Ryleigh’s. He will be making pork chili using a Mangalitsa heritage pig from Whistle Pig Hollow in Reisterstown, a favorite farm of many nose to tail chefs around town. It is the best pork I have ever tasted – and I’ve visited the farm and even got to see tiny, tiny piglets. Something I will never forget – actual squeals!
This week’s bowl and a beer is $18. That gets you, well, you know. A bowl of Chef Morrow’s chili and a beer.
