I’ve written about this event before, but that was before I had actually attended it. Now, I can FULLY (and quite happily) endorse it. If you love cocktails, learning about creative ingredients and are (even just kind of) a cocktail nerd, this one’s for you. I fully admit and embrace my nerdiness.
Doug Atwell and his colleagues from Rye Craft Cocktails in Fell’s Point will serve up their Palm House Punch, along with several new drinks especially for this event — incorporating plants and flowers that can be found in the Conservatory’s collection of rare plants from around the world. Guests will sip these delicious cocktails amidst the beautiful and exotic gardens of the Rawlings Conservatory – have you been there? It’s so lovely. The mixologists at the event will be happy to answer questions on how to incorporate rare botanicals into your cocktails at home and Conservatory volunteers will be on hand to highlight the many fascinating plants in bloom.
The admission price includes three drink tickets, snacks and music by Slavic Gypsy Jazz artists Tomas Drgon and the Hot Jazz Club of Prazevica.
See you there!
