We told you recently about a local brewery, Peabody Heights, hosting a fundraiser for the staff of Charles Village Pub after the beloved bar had to close following a grease fire. Now another brewer, Union Craft, and the food hall R. House are stepping up to do the same tonight.
From 6-9 p.m., there will be beer, raffles and prizes, with proceeds benefiting the staffers from CVP who have been out of work.
“The main goal is to get as much money together as possible for the staff at CVP who have been without work, or at very least limited in their ability to pay their bills during this unfortunate period,” writes Rob Yorke of Legends Limited, a company that distributes products for some of the prize donors: Oskar Blues Brewery, Allagash Brewing, Founders Brewing Co. and Aldaris, to name a few.
So come on out to tonight to help a “beloved institution.”
