City and state leaders, as well as leaders from the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore, on Friday opened the first public kayak launch in Baltimoreโ€™s harbor.

A cut above the rest: Baltimore County hair salon closing after 38 years“: A Baltimore County hair salon is cutting it short and closing after nearly four decades in business.

The Catonsville Hair Company will shut its doors after its final day of business on Sept. 5.

Baltimore food truck owner opens restaurant in Pigtown“: A Baltimore food truck owner is opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Pigtown.

Eleni Markatos, who has run her Taste food truck since 2022, now has a permanent location at 801 Washington Blvd.

History-steeped commercial property in Mount Vernon sells at auction for $280,900“: A commercial building and parking lot on one of Mount Vernonโ€™s most eclectic and storied blocks sold at auction on Wednesday for $280,900.

A.J. Billig Auctioneers handled the sale of the three-story building at 224-226 W. Read Street along with a 10-space parking lot at 900 Tyson Street.
