Welcome back to Pull Up A Chair, our monthly podcast where we explore different themes and what it means to build and be a part of a strong Jewish community.
This month, we are officially entering our second season! Thank you to everyone who has pulled up a chair and listened to stories from around Jewish Baltimore. In this episode, we examine what it means to be a best friend. Baltimore native, Alyson Friedman and New Jersey transplant, Elise Rubenstein, are dedicated to giving back to the community through their many involvements in Associated programs. For nearly two decades, Alyson and Elise have been dear friends, confidants and have shared adventures across the globe. “I knew right away this was a woman that I wanted to get to know,” says Alyson as she recalls how she first met Elise.
