I was shocked, intrigued, and a little grossed out when I read about the Berger Cookie milkshake (basic recipe: combine a half-gallon of vanilla ice cream with a pack of Berger cookies; blend) โ€” but this new Berger Cookie Chocolate Stout from Full Tilt Brewing is something I can definitely get behind.

In case youโ€™re not already aware, Full Tilt Brewing is a local craft brewery that launched back in 2008. They often use Baltimore icons as the inspiration for their creations, which also include Baltimore Pale Ale, Fleet Street Raspberry Wheat, and Patterson Pumpkin. The Berger Cookie Chocolate Stout is the breweryโ€™s brand-new winter seasonal. The rich, creamy, sweet beer actually has a cookie aroma (!?) according to Full Tilt โ€” I guess thatโ€™s a good thing?

You can try it for yourself next Friday in Fells Point, where Full Tilt will be offering Berger Cookie draft pints for $5 at the Admiralโ€™s Cup. Bartenders are promising to garnish the glasses with cookies as well. If youโ€™ve got a sweet tooth, this sounds like the beer for you.
