Full Tilt Brewing approved for its liquor license

The Baltimore City Liquor Board today approved Full Tilt Brewing’s application for a Class B restaurant license, clearing the way for the brewery to open the doors at its new facility in Govans next month.

With a mural up on the walls and a NBA Jam arcade cabinet procured, Full Tilt Brewing is just about ready to launch its new brewery at 5604 York Road.

One of the brewery’s co-founders, Nick Fertig, said they are hoping to open the doors on Dec. 14.

“I’ll be happy if it’s just before the end of the year,” he said.

I was shocked, intrigued, and a little grossed out when I read about the Berger Cookie milkshake (basic recipe: combine a half-gallon of vanilla ice cream with a pack of Berger cookies; blend) — but this new Berger Cookie Chocolate Stout from Full Tilt Brewing is something I can definitely get behind.
