Ruth Reichl was editor of Gourmet Magazine. Before that, she sunk her critical teeth into restaurants for the New York Times and Los Angeles Times. She’s also written memoirs, and raked in James Beard Awards. Now, Reichl is a novelist. And she’ll be talking about her latest book tonight (May 20) at Enoch Pratt Free Library.
Reichl’s novel, Delicious!, is about a food writer who returns to California to take a job at a magazine of the same name. But, Billie Breslin’s journey really begins when the magazine shuts down.
