
Goucher College president José Antonio Bowen will share his insights on The Future of Education on Tuesday evening, November 28, 7 pm, in the Friends School of Baltimore Forbush Auditorium (3A on the Campus Map). This event is open to the public and admission is free. Click here to register.
Mr. Bowen made national headlines in 2014 in the early days of his Goucher presidency when he announced the college would accept two-minute videos from applicants in lieu of high school transcripts. A pioneer in active learning and the use of technology, his book Teaching Naked: How Moving Technology out of your College Classroom will Improve Student Learning, was the 2013 winner of the Ness Award for Best Book on Higher Education from the American Association of Colleges and Universities.
