Despite the cool weather these past few days, summer is coming. For many families in the Baltimore area, that means making plans for Summer Camp! The good news is that it is not too late to plan an amazing summer for your favorite camper! From Traditional Day Camps, such as Intermediate Camp, to Creative Technology or Fine Arts Camps; there’s a Summer at Friends camp to match almost any interest. Plus, flexible scheduling allows you to mix and match to build the perfect summer schedule!

Not sure where to start? Here are a few options to get you thinking…

Dance & Film Camp, led by Friends Dance Teacher Torens Johnson, takes dance out of the studio and uses the campus as a stage! Campers will choreograph and film dynamic dance routines set with the pool, dining hall, and other campus spaces as a backdrop.

Imagination Alive is a four-week drama program for ages 7- 10, where campers will stage a brand new production in Friends’ Forbush Auditorium. This program is a perennial favorite and features drama and theatre plus swimming and more!

Eager athletes and sports enthusiasts of all ability levels will love Sports Camp, with a blend of sports instruction and traditional camp activities to create a well-rounded and super-fun day! There is even daily swimming and tennis! This year’s sports focuses include volleyball, soccer, flag football, baseball, and basketball!

Summer at Friends’ popular Creative Technology Camps are also available! Choose from MakersCamp, Robots & Rockets, Flash Animation, Phantastic Photography, Claymation, Fun with Architecture, or Video Camp.

Babysitter Training and First Aid/CPR/AED Training are available throughout the summer. These classes are a great way to learn new skills, and help instill confidence!
