Experience the latest in exercise, health & lifestyle at the 3rd annual FIT+ Festival at Harbor East

Harbor East is home to some impressive names in fitness, and for one day, they’re taking over the neighborhood! Come get your sweat on at FIT+, a street project of sport and health. On Saturday, June 20th, join us on Aliceanna Street from 9AM-1PM for complimentary fitness classes, healthy food offerings & demos, music, a Superhero kids’ zone, a photo booth & more, transforming Harbor East into a fitness street party!

Fitness classes are hosted by City Sports, lululemon athletica, The MAC and Under Armour Brand HouseEach session will showcase a unique fitness class offering, perfectly timed so guests may sample multiple classes and discover their favorite way to sweat!

The event is FREE but you’ll want to RSVP for free parking and awesome FIT+ swag!

Fitness Class Schedule:

9:00AM-9:30AM  City Sports Run Club – FIT+ kicks off with a run along our beautiful waterfront. City Sports’ Run Club will be leading a slow 30-minute run to warm everyone up – all skill levels welcome!

9:40AM-10:10AM –  MAC ATTACK – Match boxing combinations with boot camp-style drills and strength challenges with one of MAC’s top personal trainers, Wayne McFadden.

10:20AM-10:50AM – Yoga with lululemon athletica – Inspired vinyasa yoga with lululemon athletica – If you’re looking to add a little spice to your typical vinyasa flow, this 30 minute mindful vinyasa yoga practice with LA Finfinger will leave you feeling strong and open for the summer! LA Finfinger is a E-RYT vinyasa yoga teacher who has recently re-located to Baltimore City. LA travels and shares yoga and teaches locally at M.Power Yoga Studio. You can find out more about her at lafinfinger.com.

11:00AM-11:30AM – Under Armour “I Will Boxing” – Have fun learning boxing basics with 2016 Olympic contender, Team USA boxer Franchon Crews and professional boxer Glenn Dezurn Jr. Use your will & skill while bobbing & weaving and working on your foot work a la “Ali Shuffle”. Build your upper and lower body strength with an awesome “old school” classic boxing workout.

11:40AM-12:10PM – Zumba with The MAC – Enjoy this Latin-inspired dance and exercise class that fuses fitness and dance into a fun and exhilarating workout with The MAC’s Trish Guthrie.

12:20PM-12:50PM – Boxing Boot Camp with lululemon athletica – Traditional boot camp meets boxing at FIT+. lululemon joins up with the boys from Knockout Fitness to bring you “boxing bootcamp”. Participants will run drills on speed ladders, throw boxing combinations, and perform calisthenics while attached to resistance bands. This 30 minute class is guaranteed to give you a killer sweat!
