This week is a hot one in the Baltimore restaurant world, with upcoming openings, Restaurant Week promotions, and much more. Hereโ€™s a look at whatโ€™s happening:

Openings & announcements

Belliniโ€™s Harborview, a new patio bar, has opened next to DiPasqualeโ€™s on Harborview Drive.

Nine-Tailed Fox, the new Asian concept from The Atlas Group, is set to open this month. The Cross Keys restaurant promises to be a go-to spot for dim sum and more.

Pusserโ€™s Landing, which will take over the Bo Brooks space in Canton, will also open this month.

Congratulations to the Liberatoreโ€™s family, who opened their first restaurant, in Eldersburg, 37 years ago last week.

Restaurant Week

Itโ€™s midsummer Restaurant Week season โ€“ starting with Baltimore Countyโ€™s promotion, which began on July 11 and runs through July 20.

As always, there are tons of great participating restaurants, including spots like Bowleys on the Bay, which is offering $25 lunch combos and $50 dinner trios including favorites like crab dip and crab cakes, and La Food Marketa, which has a fun menu and an option to add a pitcher of margaritas for $30.

Other upcoming restaurant weeks include Harford County and Baltimore City, which both run July 25 to August 3, and Howard County, which starts August 11 and runs through August 24.

Union x Camp Small

Union Craft Brewing and Camp Small โ€“ the cityโ€™s wood waste collection yard โ€“ are working together on a new beer. Camp Small Beer is a low ABV pale ale and will be available throughout the month of July. Also, during July, Camp Small is Unionโ€™s Round Up and Match recipient โ€“ the organization that receives donations from patrons rounding up on purchases.

Crustacean Invasion at MWT

All July long, Mount Washington Tavern is hosting its annual Crustacean Invasion event โ€“ with a special menu featuring all different crab and oyster dishes, from crab toasts to softshell crab sandwiches.

Cocktails at Cosima

On Friday evening, Cosima hosts a cocktail making class showcasing preparation and history of three Italian cocktails, which will be enjoyed alongside light fare.

Harford Road Christmas in July

On Saturday, Harford Road businesses in Hamilton are celebrating Christmas in July with sales and fun promotions. At Silver Queen Cafรฉ, guests can grab $10 Mistletoe Margaritas โ€“ and will receive an extra $10 gift card with every purchase of a $50 gift card.

Wet City x Big Softy

Big Softy pops up at Wet City this Sunday morning, with a fun brunch. The menu includes soft shells (of course) along with dishes like crab cake benedict and dark chocolate pancakes.

Sophomore Coffee x Le Comptoir du Vin

Sophomore Coffee and Ali Dryer are back for another installment of their pop-up brunch at Le Comptoir du Vin this Sunday. In addition to great food, the brunch includes fun cocktails and mocktails.

Oyster shell crafting

Also on Sunday, True Chesapeake hosts its monthly Oyster Shell Crafting Party. The free event includes summery themed crafts and oyster shell painting.

Origins

On Monday, Woodberry Kitchenโ€™s Spike Gjerde explores the question โ€œWhat is a restaurant?โ€ with Damian Mosley of Blacksauce Kitchen and Will Mester of The Wren. The discussion โ€“ which is over a meal developed by the three chefs โ€“ is part of Woodberryโ€™s ongoing Origins series.

Bastille Day

Monday is also July 14 โ€“ Bastille Day.

As always, Petit Louis will be celebrating big, with a special menu, live music from Petite Fleur Band, and lots of festivities.

Chefโ€™s Expressions is also hosting its annual Bastille Day Supper at The Gramercy Mansion โ€“ though not until Thursday evening. The event starts with passed hors dโ€™oeuvres before a multi-course seated supper including dishes like escargot and steak au poivre.

At Schola, Bastille Day means a special French cooking class and a meal including escargots in puff pastry, chicken Provenรงal, and a mixed berry tart for dessert.

New pizza

Starting on July 14, Cinghiale has a new Enoteca menu featuring Abruzzese-style pizza on focaccia crust. Throughout July, the Harbor East spot is also hosting Tuesday evening happy hours featuring live music, spritzes and small bites.

Pitango Bakery & Cafรฉ has also introduced a new pizza menu (plus additional snacks). The Fells Point cafรฉ is serving Roman-style pizza alla pala, with options like prosciutto and arugula and classic margherita.

Sunset sailing

On Thursday, The Local Oyster teams up with Living Classrooms for a sunset cruise on the historic Skipjack Sigsbee. In addition to great views, guests on the sail will enjoy oysters, shrimp, beer and wine.

Costiera x Aluma

On Friday, July 18, Costiera is hosting a happy hour with the crew from Aluma Travels. The happy hour is doubling as an info session for about their upcoming joint venture, a culinary trip to Barcelona and the Catalonian coast, scheduled for June 2026.

The happy hour, which starts at 4 p.m., includes complimentary cocktails and small bites.
