Back in the late 90’s, there was a wonderful show called “Whose Line Is It Anyways?” I spent many an evening enjoying the improvisational stylings of the cast, crew and musical team. A few years ago, I was lucky enough to catch Wayne Brady at a show in Virginia, and my dreams from 1999 came true. Imagine my elation, joy and surprise at discovering that Laura Hall, the improvisational pianist from Whose Line was coming to the Creative Alliance this weekend.
Baltimore Improv Group (BIG) has joined forces with the Creative Alliance to host Laura and her husband Rick for an unforgettable evening of improvisational karaoke. Songs, both lyrics and melody, are created on the spot by these artists of absurdity. Laura has traveled around the country with Drew Carey and his Improv-All Stars, and we should consider ourselves honored to have her talents fused with the participants of BIG. One night only, this is a show you don’t want to miss!
