Round one vendor applications for food purveyors and retail businesses at the historic Lexington Market, which is undergoing a redevelopment to construct a new market building, have opened until October 2nd, 2020.
When completed in early 2022, the redeveloped Lexington Market will be home to approximately 50 vendors. Developers seek fishmongers, butchers, dairy and fresh produce suppliers, chefs, specialty food makers, and creative retail owners to fill the space. Organizers hope to attract the best examples of food artisans from the region and for the market to serve as a catalyst for community, culture, health, and more.
During construction, more than 40 Lexington Market vendors remain open in the market’s east building.
