Restaurateur Tony Foreman, Chef Cindy Wolf, Interior Designer Rita St. Clair and Brian Thim have joined forces with No Kid Hungry to help eliminate childhood hunger in Maryland with an original fundraiser, created especially for the foodie and design lover in you. “No Kid Hungry: Share our Strength” is a non-profit organization whose mission is to end childhood hunger in America.
The team will host a luncheon on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 beginning at 11:30 at Petit Louis in Columbia, where they will engage in a brief discussion about the elements of design. The cost is $125/person and includes a special, multi-course menu with wine pairings. Proceeds from the lunch with benefit No Kid Hungry.
The new Petit Louis Bistro is approximately 7,000 square feet and includes a fireplace, outdoor seating, a pastry operation, and beautiful private event planning space. It is located at 10215 Wincopin Circle in Columbia, and was designed by the design firm of Rita St. Clair Associates.
The Columbia restaurant also features a café-style, walk up/take away niche inspired by Parisian traditions that feature classic French pastries (made in-house daily), traditional sandwiches, soups, as well as salads; the space also offers a “serious” coffee program.
To make a reservation, contact the restaurant at 410-964-9999.
Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign strives to end childhood hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day. The program works to connect kids to effective nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals and more.
