We know theyโre the best student body in the Big Ten. Now, Marylandโs transit wizards see University of Maryland students as prime potential riders for the train between Baltimore and D.C.:
On Monday, MARC is beginning new service on the Camden Line thatโs designed specifically to target University of Maryland students in College Park and Baltimore.
On the tracks, that means one additional stop at College Park on the train out of D.C. in the morning, and a new College Park stop from Baltimore in the evening. MARC is also adding two new p.m. trains between D.C. and Dorsey Station. Complete Schedule
Officials billed the new service as a move to link the two campuses.
โโShrinkingโ the 30 miles that separates our campuses can only help us develop and maintain new research partnerships,โ said University of Maryland-College Park President Wallace D. Loh.
