Baltimore’s restaurant inspection reports are online, so citizens can learn why various chains are closed. Among the recent closures was an Inner Harbor sweet spot.
The Fudgery, located in the Light Street Pavilion of Harborplace, was closed after a health inspection due to a mouse infestation, according to the reports. Other violations included anoverflowing drain causing an odor and unsanitary conditions. The Fudgery was closed on Thursday, March 17, and hasn’t yet been approved to reopen, the record state.
In addition to providing a sugar fix, the Baltimore location of the shop has also been a springboard to R&B success. It’s where Dru Hill got its start singing for customers.
