BWI’s itinerary keeps expanding, especially when it comes to airlines that are billed as more affordable than the old standbys. This week, Southwest and WOW Air announced new destination options.
Southwest is offering a new nonstop flight to the West Coast. The destination: Sacramento, California. The flights to the Golden State capital start on August 7, but booking begins today.
Meanwhile, WOW Air also has a new way to work an Iceland visit into a European trip. With no additional airfare, the airline is giving customers the chance to have a stopover in Iceland amid a European trip. WOW flights to Europe already stop in Iceland, but this option provides the chance to get out of the airport and seeing some of the scenery. In Europe, Stockholm Paris, Dublin and Bristol, England, are also destinations for the airline.
