Bar ONE, a Miami-based restaurant, will open its first Baltimore location in Harbor East. The “upscale restaurant and lounge” serves Afro-Caribbean and Southern-inspired cuisine.
Bar ONE at Harbor East is projected to open in the first quarter of 2021.
The restaurant is owned by Peter Thomas, who has been featured on the reality show The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The restaurant’s menu will offer twists on traditional comfort foods in a “lively and upscale” atmosphere. The cocktail list includes tropical martinis, mules and sangrias. The interiors will feature plush furnishings and greenery, including a patio with views of the harbor promenade and waterfront.
In addition to opening the restaurant, Thomas plans to replicate Miami’s “Yacht ONE,” a private-dining cruise available for charter, at the Baltimore location once the restaurant is up and running.
“While exploring the Baltimore market, we looked no further than Harbor East,” stated Thomas in a press release. “The district’s multitude of fine dining establishments and destination shopping along with its idyllic waterfront location provide the perfect backdrop from which to launch Bar ONE. We are excited to open our doors and to introduce our unique and crave-able cuisine to an entirely new Baltimore clientele.”
Bar One will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, as well as weekend brunch.
