In the past year or so, Ravens fans have faced a serious problem. No, I’m not referring to erratic play or domestic violence scandals. I’m talking about something much more serious: slow wifi.
The Baltimore Sun reports that upload-happy fans attending games at M&T Bank Stadium were so busy snapchatting selfies or checking their fantasy football standings that they regularly overwhelmed the stadium’s wifi. The solution? A brand-new $5 million wifi system.
Upgrades are good, I guess–but isn’t the point of shelling out for tickets actually watching the game, not checking your phone?
