Nestled up in the rolling hills of Reisterstown, just outside of Owings Mills, sits the Pearlstone Center and Outdoor Education Campus. This 180-acre campus is the hub for The Associated and Pearlstone’s mission to make The Associated system, and Jewish Baltimore, more sustainable.
“And now, in this National and International Leadership role, our mission with Hazon is to lead a transformative movement deeply weaving sustainability into the fabric of Jewish life,” explained Hazon/Pearlstone CEO Jakir Manela while touring the campus last fall with Beth H. Goldsmith, Associated’s Chair of the Board.
Beth’s walking tour with Jakir is part of The Associated’s In Perspective, a series that showcases the many ways The Associated network supports Baltimore’s Jewish community
