With longtime Head of School Jean Waller Brune set to retire at the end of the academic year, Roland Park County School’s board named a new leader.
Caroline Blatti will succeed Brune, who has served as Head of School for 24 years at the all girls’ prep school. Blatti, 41, currently serves as an administrator at the Hutchison School in Memphis, Tenn., where she also formed a girls’ leadership program. She also has 10 years’ teaching experience.
“Caroline stood out from a field of truly exceptional candidates, with her commitment to innovation and single sex education, her tremendous energy, her enthusiasm for creating a dynamic learning environment and her superb communication skills,” RPCS Board President Catherine McDonnell said in a statement.
Blatti will begin the new role in July, 2016.
