This year, Small Business Saturday is on November 24th, the Saturday following Thanksgiving and marks the start of the holiday shopping season.
Sandwiched between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday calls attention to the brick and mortar stores that are the lifeblood of the community. Despite challenges from online shopping, chain restaurants, and big box stores, local entrepreneurs keep going because they love what they do. Local businesses benefit everyone in Baltimore — from the business owners who create jobs to the customers who buy locally — by keeping Baltimore thriving.
By shopping or dining at an indie business on Saturday, November 24th, you’ll show your support for local entrepreneurs and, in turn, help offer more jobs and better opportunities for the community.
Please join Baltimore Fishbowl in supporting Small Business Saturday and shop local this holiday season. Keep an eye out this holiday season for our Shop Local series highlighting local shopping centers in and around Baltimore.
