An Anne Arundel County teenager was arrested for giving his teacher a pot brownie after she asked for a piece, thinking it was a normal brownie. After a visit to the nurse’s office, the teacher was sent to the hospital.

During third period at Broadneck High School on Monday, the teacher noticed that the student had a brownie, and asked for a piece. According to Anne Arundel County police, the 17-year-old “got sacred and panicked” when the teacher asked, so  he didn’t mention that it was laced with marijuana.

Soon after the teacher ate the brownie, a colleague brought her to the nurse’s office and because “she was feeling ill and acting disoriented.” School officials then requested an ambulance, and the teacher was treated and released.

The student’s girlfriend was also discovered to have eaten the brownie after she was seen “acting lethargic.”
