Wine, Women & Shoes Benefitting The Red Devils Kicks off Mother’s Day Week on May 7
The third annual Wine, Women & Shoes event, benefiting The Red Devils, will take place at the Delta Hotel Marriott in Hunt Valley on Sunday, May 7 from 2-6 p.m. The signature event promises a day of fashion, shopping, and fun, all in support of women fighting breast cancer and their families.
Wine, Women & Shoes attendees will be treated to shopping, food bars, wine tastings, a live auction, a fashion show and a “Best in Shoe” judging by local celebrities Diane Lyn from the Mix 106.5, Maria Fleischmann of Innovative Gourmet, and local stylist Pascale Lemaire. Elaine Honig, the founder of Wine Women & Shoes and Studio 4Forty, will also attend the event.
The fundraiser draws a variety of regional sponsors who step up to ensure that The Red Devils are able to fund treatment support for Maryland women struggling with breast cancer and their families.
Bob Bell Automotive Group is sponsoring Wine Women & Shoes for a second year as the official automotive sponsor. “We all know someone who fought or is fighting breast cancer,” Bob Bell Automotive Owner Bird Bishop said. “With The Red Devils as allies, no one has to fight alone. We take great pride in helping The Red Devils stand by women in their fight against breast cancer.”
“This is our third year participating in Wine Women & Shoes. Our clientele is primarily women and we like to focus our energy and resources on causes that benefit women,” says About Faces owner Helga Surrat, an event sponsor.
Tom Fitzpatrick, COO and President of Greenberg Gibbons, says that the company believes that the communities with which they do business are critical to their success. “Supporting The Red Devils, who support women from the community, is an easy decision,” he says.
Allen “Bear” Berrier, owner of Bluestone restaurant in Timonium has been a key sponsor since the beginning because “there is no better cause than to support an organization that supports women whose families need them to be well and happy.”
Kaite Rose from The Mix 106.5 Morning Show will be the event’s emcee. and is “grateful for The Red Devils and honored to represent this wonderful organization. Here’s to making every day count and every moment a reason to love.”
