For the fourth year in a row, the world’s largest gathering of adults who love the children’s cartoon My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is coming to the Baltimore Convention Center.
Did you feel an extra… something in the air in Baltimore this weekend? You’re not crazy–this weekend, our fair city was full of the high-pitched sound of tweens screaming in unison, as well the disconcerting sight of a bunch of adults dressed up like cartoon ponies.
Maybe you find the idea of BronyCon — a convention of people, most of them young men, who love My Little Pony — intriguing, but couldn’t quite bring yourself to pony (heh) up the money to attend. Or maybe you’re bored at work and it’s Friday. In any case, you can watch the events at the livestream above. Enjoy!
Let’s get this out of the way first: Bronies are dudes (bros) who are really into My Little Pony, specifically the cartoon TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Their annual convention has drawn more than 4000 enthusiasts to New York in recent years, but this year it’s coming to Baltimore instead. Will you attend?
