Fans of Donna’s, the Charles Village restaurant that’s been open since 1998, take note: This weekend will be your last chance to eat there, so plan your snow days accordingly.
Co-owner Alan Hirsch told the Sun that the restaurant will be closing because it was losing money. Sunday will be its last day of business. The Donna’s location in Mount Vernon closed after suffering serious fire damage in 2010. The restaurant’s Cross Keys location is still open for business.
The team behind Donna’s is not giving up on restaurants, however: Hirsch and his business partner Donna Crivello are planning on opening Cosima, a Southern Italian restaurant located in the Mill No. 1 building, this year.
