Waterfront Wellness 2
catch of the day fish (2)

Eating and drinking are plenty reason head for the harbor, but one summer offering provides a chance to burn it off by the water, as well.

A series of weekly classes called Waterfront Wellness will be back at a pair of parks this weekend. Organized by the Waterfront Partnership, the classes are given by some of Baltimoreโ€™s beloved gyms, including Brick Bodies, Canton Club and MAC. This is the first year where weeknight classes will be offered, giving downtown workers a chance to stop by โ€” and skip the most crowded part of the commute in the process.

Medifast is also onboard this year to offer samples of nutritious products, and an incentive program called Get Healthy at the Harbor.

On weeknights, the classes are held at Pierceโ€™s Park, behind the Columbus Center at Pier IV. Weekend sessions are at West Shore Park, between the Science Center and Visitorโ€™s Center.

Here is the weekly schedule:

Tuesdays

6 p.m. โ€“ Combination of Yoga or Barre presented by Brick Bodies

Wednesdays

5:30 p.m. โ€“ Boot Camp, Yoga/Pilates, or Dance presented by Maryland Athletic Club & Wellness Center (MAC)
