Pride Month spans all of June, but this week is Baltimore’s turn in the spotlight as the local LGBTQ+ community celebrate with a Pride parade, block party, and plenty of other events.

This week also marks the return of Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover Baltimore, featuring military and maritime exhibits, performances, and more.

Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover Baltimore, Thursday, June 13, through Sunday, June 16, various locations. See ships and aircraft, hear live musical performances by local and Navy bands, view military- and maritime-themed exhibits, and more. Read all about it in this Baltimore Fishbowl article.

Bear Talk, Friday, June 14, 6 p.m., Guilford Hall Brewery. In the latest installment of the “Profs and Pints” series, hear from Jennifer M. Mullinax, associate professor of wildlife ecology and environmental science at the University of Maryland and veteran black bear researcher. Inspired by the viral “man or bear” meme, Mullinax will present “Why I Choose the Bear,” a talk about Ursus americanus, the American black bear.

Warren Wolf & Sonic BOOM, Friday, June 14, An Die Musik. Catch a performance by Warren Wolf & Sonic Boom, featuring Warren Wolf on drums and piano; Quincy Phillips on drums; Justin Mendez on alto sax; Tedd Baker on tenor sax; and William “MoBetta” Ledbetter on bass.

Maryland Auto Show, Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16, Baltimore Convention Center. Old, new, fast, elegant. Whatever type of cars you like, auto enthusiasts of all kinds are bound to enjoy the Maryland Auto Show.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16. Iron Crow Theatre presents their production of “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie,” about a 16-year-old gay boy who faces discrimination. The show premieres June 14 and runs through June 30.

Baltimore Pride Parade, Saturday, June 15, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., North Charles Street from 32nd Street to 24th Street. Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride with the Baltimore Pride Parade this weekend. Don’t miss the high heel race before the parade, and the block party afterwards (featuring rapper Saucy Santana). Juneteenth Celebration, Saturday, June 15, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., The Walters Art Museum. Enjoy a performance by award-winning singer Alexandria Crichlow and professor and pianist Dr. Samuel Springer. The event will celebrate Juneteenth and the African diaspora.

Father’s Day 5K and 1 Mile Walk, Sunday, June 16, 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Run or walk around the Greater Baltimore Medical Center campus during the 36th annual GBMC Father’s Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk. Packet pick-up is at 6:30 a.m., and the race begins at 8 a.m.

Father’s Day Hike, Sunday, June 16, 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Cromwell Valley Park. Pick up a Nature Quest Passport booklet at the Cromwell Valley Park Nature Center, and take a self-guided hike through the park. At the end, share a free beer or root beer at the Nature Center.

Pride in the Park, Sunday, June 16, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Druid Hill Park. Keep the Pride Month fun going at Druid Hill Park on Sunday. Enjoy performances by local artists, shop vendors, receive health testing, and more.

Weave on a Cardboard Loom, Sunday, June 16, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Baltimore Museum of Art. Artist Kim Tyson will teach attendees to weave on a handmade cardboard loom.

Maggie Rogers, Sunday, June 16, gates open 6 p.m. show starts 7:30 p.m., Merriweather Post Pavilion. Maryland native and Grammy award-winning artist Maggie Rogers will perform at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia.
