Adopt a Pet: Baltimore Human Society’s Pets of the Week

Hello. My name is Kyle and I am a Terrier Mix….maybe Bull Terrier, but not really sure. I was abandoned by my original owners who just let me go. Neighbors took me in for a few months, but then had to bring me here to find a forever home. I was really scared at first and growled at people, but after some time I really came around. I enjoy going for long walks and when I am in our activity room here, I get the zoomies and run around and jump on the couch. After- wards I like to curl up with my human friends and go to sleep. When you see me in my run, you may not think I am the same dog as described here because sometimes I don’t show well in my run. The best thing to do is ask a staff member to take me out for you. I have lived with other dogs and met a few dogs here that I have fun play dates with. I can be possessive of my food around other dogs, though, so please feed us separately if you have another one. Please consider me if you are looking for a fun-loving, happy dog. Thank you.

Hello! My name is Chessie and I’m looking for my forever home — again. That’s because I was adopted when I was a young cat, but was brought back because my owner said I needed too much attention and didn’t have the time for me. I am deaf, but that doesn’t stop me from being a fun loving guy! I’ve got the most beautiful blue eyes that will just make you melt! Wouldn’t I make a great addition to your family? I think I would, so please come in soon to meet me. I just love to talk to people.
