After more than five years in business, The Gourmet at Kenilworth is closing permanently.

The owners announced on social media that Nov. 7 would be the restaurant’s last day of operation at The Shops at Kenilworth, Kenilworth Drive in Towson.

“Serving the Towson community has been one of the greatest privileges we have the pleasure of having,” they said. “For the last 5+ years, since our first day, 08/03/2021, we’ve had some of the best guests & staff members possible…We can look back with a smile and no regrets.”

The Gourmet at Kenilworth specializes in fresh seafood, salads, sliders, cocktails and other fare served in “a casual, Nantucket-like setting.” The owners say a sister restaurant, Catonsville Gourmet at 829 Frederick Road, will continue.

“Let’s treat this next month as a celebration,” they said on social media. “Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy that it happened!”
