Atlas Restaurant Group is opening a new restaurant called The Ruxton in Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood next month.

The space will open March 4 in what used to be Fleming’s Steakhouse, adjacent to the lobby of the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel on Aliceanna Street.

The prime steakhouse purports to be a “luxurious dining experience,” with a seating capacity of 200 diners and the space designed by award-winning interior designer Patrick Sutton. The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner seven days per week.

There will be a cocktail bar opening alongside The Ruxton called Order of the Ace, which will have signature cocktails and entertainment. The bar is decorated in art deco style and has a 40-seat capacity. Also designed by Sutton, it will be open seven nights per week from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. and feature local musicians on its center stage for nightly music.

The menu is curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner. The restaurant will serve steak from Chicago-based Meats by Linz. According to the website, “The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.”

The Ruxton is located at 720 Aliceanna St. in Baltimore.
