UPDATE: A fourth show has been added for comedian Stavros Halkias’s performances at the Lyric.
Baltimore native and comedian Stavros Halkias will perform stand-up at Lyric Baltimore – and a fourth show has been added due to popular demand.
Halkias’s shows on Saturday, April 25 have completely sold out. Earlier this week, a third show was added for the previous night, Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m., but already those tickets are running low.
To give more people the chance to see him locally on his “The Dreamboat Tour,” a fourth show has been added for April 24, this one at 9:30 p.m. Audiences can buy tickets here.
Originally from East Baltimore’s Greektown neighborhood, Halkias now resides in Queens, New York.
The comedian has climbed to fame, appearing in projects like the Netflix comedy series “Tires” and the film “Bugonia,” the latter of which was nominated for the Golden Globe Awards and Academy Awards.
Halkias even wrote and stars in his own comedy movie, “Let’s Start a Cult,” about a man who misses out on his cult’s mass suicide and sets out to start a new cult.
Last year, Halkias also appeared with fellow Baltimorean John Waters on the Netflix variety show “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney.” On their episode Halkias and Waters talked about The Club Charles, “The Wire,” Greektown, and more.
Halkias now hosts the podcast “Stavvy’s World,” featuring celebrities, comedians, and other guests, as well as calls from listeners.
