With picnic tables and access to plenty of some of the best local beer around, Union Craft Brewing’s space in Hampden one of the prime spots for outdoor imbibing. On Fridays during the summer, the local brewery adds a whole hog to the mix.
Black Fridays return Friday night (May 15) for the year. For the events, the food is provided by Blacksauce Kitchen. Usually, these mobile foodies serve up biscuit sandwiches. But for Union, Blacksauce provides a whole hog roast, just the way the week should end. It’s pay-by-the-pound, and may sell out, so organizers advise to show up early. DJ Daniel Biltmore is providing the music.
Black Fridays runs 6-10 p.m. at Union Craft Brewing (1700-D Union Ave.). More dates are expected to be announced in the near future.
