Laguna Beach-based jewelry brand gorjana will open a store in Baltimore’s Harbor East this summer, the company announced Monday.

The 1,350-square-foot store will be gorjana’s second Maryland location, after the company opened a store in Bethesda in 2021. The jewelry brand has more than 70 stores across the United States.

“Maryland has been an incredible home for us, since we opened our Bethesda store in 2021,” said Gorjana Reidel, the brand’s co-founder, in a statement. “Where rich history meets modern elegance, we’re so excited to join the lively entertainment and shopping destination this summer.”

The store will be located on the corner of South Exeter Street and Aliceanna Street, in a space previously occupied by a MAC Cosmetics store.

“We look forward to welcoming gorjana to Harbor East,” said Tim O’Donald, president of Harbor East Management, in a statement. “The addition of their storefront highlights Harbor East as the perfect destination for nationally recognized brands to expand into the Baltimore market.”

As more retailers flock to Harbor East, gorjana will join several other brands that have opened for business – or will be soon – in the area, such as fellow jewelry company Pandora; Kneads Bakeshop & Cafe, a concept by H&S Bakery; luxury mattress retailer Saatva’s viewing room, which is coming soon; and Alo Yoga Sanctuary, which is set to open at the end of 2024, among others.
