Garden and Gun is a magazine of the South. Being a media publication, they must partake in some form of March Madness promotion. But, being, as we mentioned, in the South, theyโre more inclined for pigskin than basketball. So, they turned to barbecue, and are allowing joints from places like Baltimore in the bracket.
Route 40โs own Chaps Pit Beef earned a bid to the G&G Ultimate Barbecue Bracket. They may call It Pit Beef rather than BBQ, but weโll venture that Chaps can compete with anyone. With the gentlemenโs club next door, they have the intangibles column locked.
The first round opponent is Lexington Barbecue of North Carolina.
