
Nathaniel Badder, Gilman Class of ’94, has returned to campus as the new Director of Alumni Relations and Outreach.
A graduate of Middlebury College (B.A.) and Elmira College (M.S.Ed.), Badder’s professional career has included stints in California and New York at a financial software company, as a college lacrosse coach, and a high school athletic director. On returning to Baltimore in 2009, he served as the Director of National Teams at US Lacrosse. Most recently, Badder founded and ran a retail art business, 36 Letters, specializing in photo letter art using pictures of objects to spell out words and phrases.
An avid runner, traveler, writer, and photographer, Badder lives in Homeland.

Sarah Ross has joined Gilman as the Director of College Counseling. She comes to Gilman from Kent School (CT), where she served as Assistant Head of School for Enrollment and, prior to that, was the Director of College Counseling. Beginning as a French teacher and holding various positions related to counseling, admissions, community relations, and multicultural affairs, Ross has worked in a variety of settings before Kent, including the Harvard Institute for International Development, Stanford University, and Trinity School (CA).
A Boston native, Ross holds a B.A. in French Language and Civilization from Middlebury College and an M.A. in Counseling from Lesley College. She lives in Homeland.
