Moveable Feast is a wonderful organization which supports people in need in Baltimore. From their website, this sticks with me:
“Imagine, for a moment, that today you found out you were HIV positive or had breast cancer. What would you do first? Who would you tell? Where would you turn for help? Now try to imagine how you would cope if you were also on disability, supporting a family or partner, suffering the ravages of chemotherapy or cocktail therapy and unable to earn a paycheck. Or maybe you are completely on your own with no one to help you out on those inevitable difficult days. Nobody should have to deal with all of that alone.” Amen.
Enter, the Rebels with a Cause, a group of cycling enthusiasts who work tirelessly for Moveable Feast. This Thursday, April 23, they will host the third annual Brew for the Feast at Union Craft Brewing. Your ticket gets you your first beer by Union, plus bites from Woodberry Kitchen, Wit & Wisdom, Blue Pit BBQ & Whiskey Bar, Dooby’s, Barren Island Oysters and live music from Alex (of Old Man Brown) & Company.
On-site parking is extremely limited. Additional street parking is available. We encourage you to consider carpooling, Uber and Light Rail.
